AT HOME:

www.youtube.com You would be surpised to see how many teachers video tape themselves and put themselves on YouTube. (You will not find me there.) All your need to do is type the section title in the search box and videos explaining how to do it will come up. Make sure to ask a parent/guardian permission before you search You Tube. 

 www.khanacademy.org This website is used a lot by home schooled children. It not only has instructional videos. It also enables you to create review worksheets for yuor child free of charge.

AT SCHOOL:

7:30am to 8:20am:

How are my child's grades determined?

15% Classwork/Homework

    * Homework is an effort grade.

      If it is done, then it's a 3/3.

      If it is mostly done, then it is a 2/3.

      If it was started, then it is a 1/3.

      If it missing, then it is a 0/3.

35% Quizzes/ Extended Responses

     *All quizzes and extended responses

     can be corrected to be a perfect score.

50% Tests

     *All tests can be retaken

      AFTER the student conferences with

      the teacher. Tests must be taken BEFORE

      the next chapter test is given.
