Freedom of Information Act

  • The Board of Education is committed to maintaining a culture of transparency in District 45.  The District affirms its obligation to fulfill all requirements of the Illinois Freedom of Information Act.  Please see Board Policy 2471 for more information.

    District 45 asks the public to make public records requests in writing. District 45 encourages the public to make those requests using FOIA Form 3, available below.

    There is no fee for the first 50 black-and-white, standard-sized copies of public records. The fee for additional copies is 15 cents per page.

    The District 45 School Board has designated two FOIA Officers to assist with public records requests. They are:

    • Assistant Superintendent for Finance Patricia Volling, pvolling@d45.org, 630-516-7330
