The District 45 Board of Education serves a diverse student body of more than 3,400 students from Villa Park, Lombard, Oakbrook Terrace, and Elmhurst. The Board of Education works together with district administration to ensure that the D45 Mission and Vision is being adopted and in practice across the district.
To protect the safety of our community, the public is strongly encouraged to not physically attend meetings.
Under Governor Pritzker’s guidelines for Phase 4, a limited number of seats will be available for the public to attend meetings in person on a first come first served basis. Social distancing must be adhered to and all visitors must wear a mask.

Board members are elected to four-year terms in the April General Election.
District 45 Board Members "adopt" a school for periodic visits and chats. This gives them increased opportunities for face-to-face contact with students, teachers and parents. Listed below are our board members and their adopted school for the current school year.
