The Early Childhood Program teaches the District's youngest students the foundational skills necessary to be successful learners throughout their academic career.

  • Our program is committed to ensuring high levels of learning for all students.

We currently have classrooms located at Ardmore School, Stevenson School, and Schafer School.  We provide a continuum of services for our students with special needs, and also provide preschool programming for children considered to be at-risk for learning due to financial or environmental factors present in their lives.

All of our classroom teachers are certified in early childhood, special education, and have their English Language Learner certification.  The program is also supported by a coordinator, school psychologist, social workers, parent coordinator, speech/language pathologist, occupational therapist, and physical therapist.

We conduct several birth through three-year old screenings, and four preschool screenings throughout the year.

The Birth through Three-Year-Old Screening dates are:

    Saturday, October 27th

    Saturday, January 26th

    Saturday, April 13th
