District 45 Welcomes New Jefferson Assistant Principal for the 2019-2020 Year

District 45 is pleased to announce the approval of Gabrielle Clow, Assistant Principal at Jefferson Middle School.

Gabrielle Clow was most recently employed in Helena, MT, serving as an Assistant Principal at Helena High School. She has held this position since 2016. Among many other notable responsibilities, in this role, she helped evaluate programming to identify needed improvements, coordinated summer programming, monitored behavior data to better understand trends, and worked with students, teachers, parents, and community members to increase attendance. Ms. Clow was a member of the PBIS committee and worked to promote positive behavioral interventions in classrooms and throughout the school. She also collaborated with mental health professionals in order to help support personal and academic student growth. Prior to holding this position, Ms. Clow also served as an Assistant Superintendent/Dean of Students at Waukegan High School and a guidance counselor, disciplinarian, and teacher with the Jose de Diego Community Academy in Chicago, IL.

Gabrielle Clow attended Loras College in Dubuque, IA. She holds a BA from the University of Montana in English Literature, MAT from National Louis University in Secondary Education, MA from Concordia University in Leadership, and MA from Concordia University in School Counseling.
